Job summary

OCBC Group Shared Services invites applications for a Data Analytics Intern. You will analyse payment transaction data, build dashboards, and support automation initiatives across regional payment operations.

This role offers hands-on experience in data analytics, visualisation, and reporting within a banking operations environment. You will work with stakeholders, develop technical skills in Excel, Python, and BI tools, and gain exposure to domestic and cross-border payment processes.

• Interest in financial services, particularly banking operations.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics: analyse and interpret payment transaction data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Dashboard & Reporting: support development of dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to monitor KPIs and performance.
• Data Management: assist with data extraction, transformation, and preparation of datasets for analysis.
• Data Governance: help define key metrics and maintain data integrity across datasets.
• Automation & Digitalisation: contribute to automation initiatives to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with regional stakeholders to understand business needs and decision-making.
• Projects & Ad-hoc Tasks: support analytics projects and operational reviews.
