Job summary

Alexandra Hospital Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented administrator to support meal planning and departmental operations. The role involves managing diet control for patients, coordinating meal orders, and liaising with kitchen staff to ensure accurate meal assembly and timely data reporting.

Candidate should have a NITEC or Diploma in Food Science/Nutrition, WSQ Food Safety Level 1, strong English communication, and solid IT skills.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Food Science/Nutrition preferred.
• WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate required.
• Good communication and phone etiquette.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Manage diet control administration and patient meal-related matters.
• Handle telephone calls, enquiries and feedback; record and convey messages to relevant departments.
• Collate and update meal data required by the kitchen for production summaries.
• Generate daily meal summaries via the electronic meal ordering system and distribute to kitchen sections.
• Generate patients' meal chits and hand over to the kitchen for meal assembly.
• Assist kitchen team during meal assembly and plating; ensure meals are loaded accurately.
• Requisition, control, and maintain office supplies within the department.
• Receive, issue, and perform stock takes of assigned items; ensure proper storage.
