Job summary

Surrey Hills Holdings Pte Ltd is expanding its F&B group with 10 outlets across Singapore and an upcoming Western-Japanese concept in Sept 2026. We are looking for a Part-Time Kitchen Helper at Vivo City / ION to support the kitchen team and ensure smooth daily operations.

Working hours are 5–10 hours per shift, with shifts on weekdays, weekends and public holidays. The hourly rate ranges from SGD 12.50 to 15, with a 1.5x rate on public holidays. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided, must be willing to learn
• Previous kitchen or F&B experience is an advantage
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Physically fit and comfortable performing kitchen and cleaning duties
• Positive attitude and willing to learn
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays where required

Responsibilities

• Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients
• Prepare ingredients and kitchen items according to instructions and established SOPs
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organising food supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, preparation areas, equipment, and utensils
• Wash and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas when required
• Assist the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Ensure food items are handled and stored safely according to food safety and hygiene standards
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Follow all company SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Chef or Supervisor

• Position: Part-Time Kitchen Helper
• Working Location: Vivo City, ION
• Working Hours: 5-10 hours, depending on availability and operational needs
• Working Days: Weekdays / Weekends/ Public Holiday
• Hourly Rate: $12.5 - $15, depending on weekly availability. x1.5 rate for Public Holiday.
