Job summary

PAWA Bakery in Singapore is seeking reliable Baker Assistants to join the Central Kitchen, on a full-time or part-time basis. You will support daily bakery production and help ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include dough preparation, shaping and portioning, arranging dough for production schedules, packing and dispatch, and maintaining hygiene across the kitchen. Training will be provided; prior baker experience (1 year) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Singaporean or PR preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
• Responsible, disciplined and able to follow instructions.
• Team player with good work attitude.
• At least 1-year baker experience preferred; training will be provided.

• Assist bakers with dough preparation, shaping and portioning
• Arrange and organise dough for production and baking schedules
• Support packing, sorting and dispatch of products to outlets
• Clean baking trays, racks, containers and workstations
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and production area
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and food safety guidelines
• Assist with general production tasks as assigned

Required competencies and certifications

• Singaporean / Singapore PR preferred
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Responsible, disciplined and able to follow instructions
• Team player with good work attitude
• At least 1-year baker experience required, training will be provided
