Job summary

SWIFTSKILL ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a BIM Drafter to create and update 3D BIM models using REVIT, coordinate with design teams, and prepare shop drawings for MEP projects.

You will ensure compliance with Singapore BIM standards, maintain drawing accuracy, and support project decision-making through visualizations and well-documented records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in MEP or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of BIM requirements in Singapore standard is a plus.
• Proficient in Autodesk REVIT is a must.
• Skilled in AutoCAD for drawing linkage and cleanup.
• Strong technical skills in AutoCAD, REVIT and Navisworks Manage.

Responsibilities

• Construct and update 3D BIM models using REVIT to reflect latest design info.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design changes.
• Prepare BIM models to support visualization and informed decisions.
• Ensure M&E designs comply with codes, regs and specs.
• Produce shop drawings and detailed drawings aligned with criteria.
• Adhere to BIM execution plans and project workflows.
• Follow BIM content standards to ensure quality deliverables.
• Document drawings with version control and traceability.
• Conduct modelling quality control checks for accuracy.
• Support project success with additional duties as needed.
• Develop 3D BIM models with BIM Coordinator using Revit/AutoCAD.
• Draft and prepare drawings including schematic and 3D drawings.
• Ensure design drawings comply with specifications and requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Construct & update 3D BIM models using Autodesk REVIT to reflect the latest design information and ensure drawing accuracy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design changes & resolve model challenges
• Prepare BIM models to support visualization & enable informed decision-making based on design updates
• Ensure M&E designs comply with relevant codes, regulations & design specifications
• Produce shopdrawings, penetration drawings & detailed shop drawings aligned with design criteria
• Adhere to BIM execution plans and project workflows to maintain consistent processes and quality
• Follow BIM content standards and development procedures to ensure uniformity & high quality deliverables
• Document all drawings with proper version control & traceability for project records
• Conduct modeliing quality control checks to uphold accuracy & completeness of BIM outputs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall project success and delivery
• Work closely with BIM Coordinator, Design Engineers to develop 3D BIM Model for coordination and collaboration using Revit/AUTOCAD
• Responsible for all drafting and preparation of drawings for projects, including schematic drawings, mounting details, 3D drawings, etc.
• Ensure that design/proposal drawings are in accordance to specifications or statutory requirements
