Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 1–3 years of M&E BIM modelling experience, preferably locally.
• Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Good understanding of M&E systems and construction drawings.
• Familiarity with local BIM standards and Singapore practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain M&E BIM models using Revit MEP.
• Prepare shop drawings and construction drawings from BIM models.
• Coordinate M&E services with architectural and structural disciplines.
• Perform BIM coordination and clash detection using Navisworks.
• Update models to reflect design changes and site conditions.

Job Title: M&E BIM Modeler

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented M&E BIM Modeler to support our project team in developing, coordinating and maintaining Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) BIM models for construction projects in Singapore.

The successful candidate will work closely with M&E Engineers, Project Managers, BIM Coordinators, consultants and site teams to ensure accurate and coordinated BIM models and construction drawings are delivered according to project requirements and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain M&E BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Prepare and revise M&E shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built drawings.
• Model and coordinate M&E services including electrical, ACMV/HVAC, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection and related services where applicable.
• Perform BIM coordination and clash detection using Navisworks or other BIM coordination software.
• Coordinate M&E services with architectural, structural and other engineering disciplines.
• Identify and resolve clashes, discrepancies and modelling issues in coordination with Engineers and BIM Coordinators.
• Update BIM models according to design changes, consultant comments and actual site conditions.
• Ensure BIM models, drawings and documentation comply with project requirements, BIM standards and relevant Singapore requirements.
• Assist in preparing BIM submissions, coordination drawings and other project deliverables.
• Maintain proper BIM files, drawing records, revision control and project documentation.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and provide technical support when required.
• Assist with quantity take-off and material information extraction from BIM models when required.
• Perform other BIM modelling and drafting duties assigned by the Project Manager, Engineer or BIM Coordinator.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in M&E BIM modelling, preferably in Singapore's construction industry.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Good understanding of M&E systems and construction drawings.
• Experience in BIM coordination and clash detection is preferred.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction practices and BIM requirements will be an advantage.
• BCA BIM-related certification or Revit certification is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret M&E drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Meticulous, responsible and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
