Job summary

Tencent is seeking a Senior Oversea Data Center Program Lead to shape and execute our overseas IDC strategy. You will oversee local management, IT operations, asset control, and safety across multiple sites, ensuring efficient, secure operations and strategic vendor partnerships.

The role requires 5+ years in data center infra or networking, familiarity with IDC architectures, and strong ITIL/PMP credentials. Frequent overseas travel and hands-on project leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above with 5+ years in data center infra or networking.
• Familiar with IDC infrastructure architectures and equipment; overseas operator knowledge a plus.
• Knowledge of data center servers and networking gear; IT hardware fundamentals.
• Strong operations service management skills; ITIL preferred.
• Excellent communication and project management; PMP preferred.
• Steady, meticulous, and willing to travel overseas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Tencent’s overseas data center strategy and oversee local management of overseas data centers.
• Manage IT operations for overseas data centers, including maintenance, relocation, decommissioning, asset mgmt, safety, and service management.
• Manage relationships with overseas data center and network operators; build secure, reliable partnerships.
• Oversee and evaluate on-site operations outsourcing partners and teams.
• Drive development of the overseas IDC ecosystem.
• Ensure quality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and security.
• Travel overseas as required for project construction or operations.
