Job summary

ByteDance, a global technology company, is seeking a Data Center O&M Operations Lead to oversee worldwide data center infrastructure, emergency response, and collaboration with on-site teams. You will monitor regional metrics, drive improvement of O&M processes, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure service reliability.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of experience in data center infrastructure O&M, with emergency management exposure.
• Strong risk identification and ability to escalate and report major risks with closed-loop coordination.
• Familiar with data center O&M workflows and systems; KPI tracking and data analysis experience preferred.
• Excellent documentation habits and data tooling skills; capable of updating workflows and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operation, maintenance and emergency response for global data center infrastructure. Provide remote emergency support, coordinate with on-site facility managers and local contacts, and liaise with business teams when service disruptions occur.
• Escalate and report major risks in a timely manner, follow up on rectification progress, and coordinate internal and external resources to ensure full closed-loop management of O&M risks.
• Drive the implementation, rollout and supervision of O&M management systems. Unify operational specifications across all data centers, and guide on-site teams on daily routine work.
• Regularly monitor and analyze regional O&M metrics, conduct quality supervision and process audits. Identify potential operational risks, and continuously optimize workflows and service quality.
• Support the capability building of data center infrastructure platforms, including data ingestion, data governance and alarm management.
