Job summary

NCS Group is seeking an experienced leader to oversee daily data center operations and incident response. You will manage physical and cloud infrastructure, ensure security and reliability, and drive incident resolution with ITIL-aligned processes.

Lead teams across IT, network, security, and facilities to maintain high service quality. The role requires 7-10 years in data center ops, expertise with monitoring/backups, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of IT hands-on experience in data center operations and cloud administration.
• Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes for incident, problem, and change management.
• Familiarity with monitoring and backup tools.
• Hands-on experience in batch job processing, server checks, and system operations.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Python, PowerShell) is advantageous.
• AWS, Azure and Google Cloud hands-on experience is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day data center operations and incident response.
• Lead infrastructure management across servers, storage, network devices, power, and cooling.
• Ensure security, reliability, scalability, and SLA-aligned operations.
• Coordinate incident investigations, RCA, and closures; ensure ITIL compliance.
• Provide 24x7 standby coverage and on-site incident escalation support.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with IT, security, and facilities teams.
• Plan capacity, optimize data center resources, and forecast needs.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans; enforce security access.
