Job summary

National Heart Centre Singapore seeks a capable professional to assist the Head of Cardiac Clinics in overseeing outpatient admitting services. You will drive strategic planning, implement admission and financial counselling processes, and develop workplans that leverage innovative technologies to improve patient flow.

The role requires managing budgets, allocation of resources, and supervision of staff in a fast-paced hospital setting, with emphasis on service recovery and process improvements

Qualifications

• Degree holder with at least 3 years' experience in managing admitting services in healthcare.
• Healthcare and staff management experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge or experience in design thinking, change management, project management, technology adoption or process methodologies preferred.
• Results-oriented, analytical, supervisory and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take initiative, multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Cardiac Clinics in managing and supervising the operational and day-to-day activities of outpatient admitting services.
• Contribute to strategic planning, development and implementation of admission and financial counselling processes.
• Develop workplans and processes for admission and financial counselling using innovative technologies.
• Prepare and monitor annual operating and capital budgets and optimise resource allocation.
• Manage manpower resources and oversee cross-functional system enhancements and workflows.
