Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a field assistant to support animal management policy work and related research. The role involves site inspections, data collection, and stakeholder engagement to support operations and policymaking.

Based in East/North-East Singapore, the position is a 1-year contract with 6 hours per day, 5 days per week. Salary is SGD 16 per hour, paid monthly, with outdoor duties and tablet data input as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Physically fit to walk and stand for long hours outdoors.
• Comfortable using a tablet to input findings.

• Participating in joint site inspections with agencies and the Integrated Operator to assess and capture condition of assets before taking over for maintenance
• Conducting site surveys and information gathering for hotspots and escalated feedback for internal assessment of situation and follow-up

Working Hours: 6 hours per day (5 days per week)

Location: East/North-East

Salary: $16/hour

About the Role

The team develops animal management policies, conducts research to support operations and policymaking, and engages stakeholders on these policies.
