Job summary

JPT Opto-Electronics Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Technical Project Engineer to lead development and production of advanced optical testing equipment. You will oversee projects from planning through delivery, coordinating with engineering teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.

You will develop schedules, perform feasibility studies, and address design, prototype, and production challenges while maintaining close communication with stakeholders and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optical, Electronics, Mechanical, Software, Automation Engineering or related disciplines.
• Strong technical understanding and analytical problem solving.
• Excellent communication, coordination and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage optical testing equipment development and production projects from planning to completion.
• Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and reliability assessments.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, suppliers and customers for smooth execution.
• Monitor costs, manage resources, and optimize schedules.
• Work with engineers to resolve technical and quality issues during design/prototyping/production.
• Understand customer requirements, assess feasibility and propose solutions.
• Provide regular progress updates and risk assessments to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot challenges and coordinate timely solutions.
