Job summary

RECRUIT EXPERT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Optical Engineer to design, develop, and optimize optical and illumination systems for semiconductor manufacturing and inspection.

You will investigate performance issues and drive improvements through testing and analysis. The role requires at least 2 years in optical engineering or related fields, with proficiency in optical design software, alignment, testing, and 2D CAD drafting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in optical engineering, vision systems, illumination design, or semiconductor industries.
• Proficient in optical design software, optical alignment, optical testing, and 2D CAD drafting.
• Knowledge of high-magnification optics, LED illumination systems, lens specifications, optical design trade-offs, and basic optical modeling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize optical and illumination systems for semiconductor manufacturing and inspection.
• Investigate and resolve optical performance issues through testing and analysis.
• Evaluate existing vision and imaging systems and recommend enhancements for accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate optical solutions and support new product development.
