Job summary

GMP Technologies (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a hardware/vision systems engineer to join a multidisciplinary team focused on system performance testing, evaluation and customer qualification. The role involves component selection and design of electrical parts for vision inspection equipment, with emphasis on establishing performance specifications.

Qualifications

• Min 1-3 years experience
• Familiar with CAD software for electrical and schematic design
• Familiar with PCB/PCBA design/fabricate process
• Familiar with PC hardware, Windows OS and software
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics/PC hardware system
• Analytical with good troubleshooting skills
• Able to work independently and a strong team player
• Knowledge in Inspection system is beneficial

Responsibilities

• The role will involve working within a multidisciplinary team who carry out system performance test, evaluation and customer qualification
• Assist in vision component selection
• Design of electrical parts and sub-modules for vision inspection equipment
• Evaluating and establishing vision system performance specifications
• Maintain design documentation, drawings and BOM
• Planning/Coordination of releasing new designs to manufacturing
• Provide troubleshooting expertise and training
