EVER-SHINE FOOD SUPPLIER PTE. LTD. in Pasir Panjang, Singapore, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to keep the fresh produce supply and distribution running smoothly.

Know how to keep operations moving? We need someone who can take charge. We are looking for a dependable and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a fresh vegetable supply and distribution business in Pasir Panjang. From purchasing fresh produce and coordinating deliveries to managing manpower and resolving daily operational issues, you will be responsible for keeping the business running efficiently. This is a hands‑on position for someone who understands that operations do not always go according to plan and knows how to put things right.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations & Team Management

• Oversee daily operations, from receiving goods to order preparation and dispatch.
• Plan manpower schedules and assign duties according to daily workload.
• Supervise warehouse, packing and delivery teams to ensure work is completed on time.
• Monitor daily workflow and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Step in to support ground operations during busy periods when required.

Procurement & Inventory Control

• Manage daily vegetable purchasing based on customer orders, stock levels and demand.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, availability, product quality and delivery arrangements.
• Monitor stock movement, freshness and inventory accuracy.
• Minimise spoilage, wastage and unnecessary purchasing costs.
• Ensure sufficient stock is available to fulfil customer orders.

Delivery & Logistics Coordination

• Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules, routes and driver deployment.
• Ensure customer orders are accurately prepared, packed and dispatched on time.
• Monitor delivery progress and resolve delays, shortages or delivery discrepancies.
• Coordinate closely with drivers, suppliers and customers to maintain smooth operations.
• Review delivery efficiency and recommend improvements where necessary.

Quality & Operational Standards

• Ensure vegetables meet required freshness, quality and handling standards.
• Oversee proper storage, stock rotation and housekeeping practices.
• Maintain workplace safety, cleanliness and operational discipline.
• Address product quality issues, customer complaints and operational discrepancies promptly.

Reporting & Cost Management

• Monitor purchasing costs, wastage, manpower utilisation and delivery efficiency.
• Maintain accurate operational, inventory and procurement records.
• Report significant operational issues and provide practical recommendations to management.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce operating costs.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations, preferably within fresh produce, food distribution, wholesale or logistics.
• Experience in procurement, manpower scheduling and delivery coordination is essential.
• Good understanding of stock control, order fulfilment and daily warehouse operations.
• Able to supervise staff and manage multiple operational priorities.
• Confident in dealing with suppliers, drivers and customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and able to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Hands‑on, responsible and prepared to work alongside the team when required.
• Basic computer skills for operational records and reporting.
• Able to undertake occasional night duties to support purchasing, incoming shipments or operational requirements.
• Able to work a 6-day work week.

Work Arrangement

Position: Operations Manager

Location: Pasir Panjang, Singapore

Salary: Up to $3,800 per month , depending on experience

Working Days: 6 days per week

Working Hours: Based on operational requirements, including occasional night duties
