Job summary

Hwa Seng Builder Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead logistics operations for multiple construction projects in Singapore. You will supervise fleet, crane, and site manpower, and coordinate with project teams and vendors to ensure timely project execution.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or related degree, 8–12 years in construction logistics, and 3–5 years of managerial experience. Strong leadership, planning, and regulatory knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Operations/Logistics or related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in construction operations, logistics, or fleet management.
• 3–5 years of managerial experience in the construction industry.
• Experience managing cranes, lorries, machinery, fleet operations, and site manpower.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction industry practices and regulatory requirements, WSH.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall logistics operations across construction projects.
• Oversee daily logistics operations, fleet deployment, manpower coordination, and operational planning to support smooth project execution.
• Manage fleet operations including cranes, lorries, vehicles, machinery, and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, site teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure operational and logistics requirements are met.
• Supervise logistics staff, general workers, and operational manpower across multiple project sites.
• Monitor fleet maintenance, permits, insurance, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Review operational performance, manpower deployment, resource utilization, and logistics costs.
• Drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and problem-solving initiatives.
• Prepare operational and logistics reports for management review.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
