Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees involved in production/operation functions.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency and materials.
• Participates in operational meetings.
• Supports development and tracking of performance metrics.
• Schedules and conducts milestone meetings.
• Responsible for meeting or improving cycle time performance and other metrics.
• Ensures timely response to operations issues; interfaces with customer/vendor requirements; analyzes cost of quality and initiates corrective action.
• Oversees the prevention of employee accidents and injuries.
• Ensures training compliance including EHS training.
• Develops personnel through training and coaching; manages performance management.
• Manages hiring, rewards and discipline processes.
• Supports capacity optimization; analyzes and reports key data.
• Identifies process and quality changes to improve capabilities.
• Drives Lean, Safety and Quality; takes corrective action.
