Qualifications

• Experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of lean, safety and quality systems.
• Ability to analyze metrics and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees in production and/or operation functions related to manufacturing capital equipment and components.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity and materials requirements.
• Participates in operational meetings; supports development and tracking of performance metrics.
• Schedules and conducts milestone meetings; aims to meet or improve cycle time and other metrics.
• Ensures timely response to operations issues impacting customer satisfaction; interfaces with customer/vendor requirements.
• Prepares detailed analysis of cost of quality opportunities and initiates corrective action.
• Oversees safety; ensures training (EHS) for department employees including temporaries.
• Develops personnel through training, career development, and coaching; manages performance management processes.
• Manages hiring, rewards and discipline processes; supports capacity optimization and data reporting.
• Drives Lean, Safety and Quality and takes corrective action.
