Responsibilities

• Supervises employees in production and related operation functions for capital equipment and assemblies.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity and materials requirements.
• Participates in operational meetings; supports performance metric tracking and milestone reviews; aims to improve cycle time.
• Ensures timely response to operations issues; coordinates with customers/vendors and analyzes cost of quality opportunities; initiates corrective actions.
• Oversees safety training and compliance; ensures department training for all staff including temporaries.
• Develops personnel through coaching, training, and career development; manages hiring, rewards and disciplinary processes.
• Supports capacity optimization and data reporting; analyzes key metrics and real-time status; drives process improvements.
