Job summary

Applied Materials Singapore is a global leader in materials engineering solutions. The Production Supervisor role oversees manufacturing operations, including assembly, inspection, test, and final checks for capital equipment components in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage staffing, schedules, and performance metrics, drive Lean improvements, ensure safety training, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production and testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work in Singapore and adapt to a fast-paced tech environment.
• Knowledge of Lean, safety and quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervises production and test activities across assembly, inspection, and final checks.
• Prioritizes schedules by manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and materials.
• Supports meetings and metrics tracking; aims to improve cycle time.
• Addresses operations issues to protect customer satisfaction; enforces requirements.
• Ensures safety training and compliance; manages incidents.
• Develops staff through training, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Analyzes capacity and reports key production data.
• Drives lean, safety, and quality improvements; implements corrective actions.
