Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Nitec / Diploma / Degree in SCM or Logistics.
• Experience in logistics operations, preferably project logistics or heavy lift/oversized cargo.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping, INCOTERMS, and customs procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, scheduling and execution of shipments (land, sea, air, multimodal).
• Liaise with customers, vendors, carriers, customs brokers and internal teams.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, permits and customs clearance.
• Monitor project timelines, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Track cargo movement and project milestones to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality and compliance standards.

Job description

The Operations Executive – Project Logistics is responsible for the coordination and execution of end-to-end logistics solutions for project cargo, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods for large-scale or complex customer projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of project logistics including planning, scheduling, and execution of shipments (land, sea, air, multimodal).
• Liaise with customers, vendors, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and communication.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, permits, and customs clearance in compliance with regulations.
• Monitor project timelines, proactively identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks or issues.
• Track and report cargo movement and project milestones to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout the logistics process.
• Support project budgeting, cost control, and billing activities.
• Address customer inquiries and provide operational solutions for project logistics challenges.
• Assist in continuous process improvement initiatives for enhanced service delivery.

Requirements:

• Minimum Higer Nitec /Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent, with experience in logistics operations, preferably in project logistics or heavy lift/oversized cargo.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping, INCOTERMS, and customs procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics management systems.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
• Ability to manage under pressure, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and deliver against tight schedules.
• Critical in maintaining continuity and minimizing non-productive time
