Job summary

Pentagon Freight Services (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a logistics professional to support Ocean, Air and Road freight operations, coordinating shipments from planning to delivery.

You will liaise with internal teams, handle import/export documentation, and ensure timely invoicing, pricing, and responsive customer service. Fresh graduates and those with 2–3 years' experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Relevant Freight Forwarding Experience - Ocean Freight exposure preferred
• Customer-focused – Build long-term customer relationships while identifying growth opportunities
• Analytical – Assess situations strategically to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Multitasking – Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines
• Effective communicator – Communicate clearly and promptly to achieve desired outcomes and minimize communication gaps

• Open to fresh graduates and candidates with preferably 2–3 years of relevant working experience

Responsibilities

• This role supports day to day Ocean, Air and Road Freight operations
• Shipment planning consists of Air, LCL, FCL, Breakbulk etc
• Haulage arrangements
• Customs clearance declaration
• Work closely with internal departments to coordinate customer’s shipments
• Handling Import and Export shipments & documentation from A to Z
• Troubleshooting and attending to customer complaints/disputes/ ministry/ official authority
• Ensure all enquirers are responded to within the shortest possible time frame
• To obtain pricing and generate complete/competitive quotation base on customer’s requirements
• Follow up with customer, overseas agents and overseas offices on quotations/ proposal and negotiate to a closure
• Collaborate with Sales and Commercial on maintenance of customers
• Monitor billing and ensure timely invoicing
• Involvement in ad-hoc duties and assignments may be required from time to time
