Job summary

FURNTEC PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a shipping specialist to manage end-to-end shipment operations, including booking, documentation, tracking, and delivery.

You will coordinate with forwarders and overseas agents to ensure timely cargo movement, monitor status updates, and communicate any changes or delays to customers. The role also involves preparing quotations for freight services, responding to RFQs, and verifying critical documents such as Bill of Lading and Commercial Invoice.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in relevant fields.
• Experience in shipping documentation and import/export documentation.
• Strong MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end shipment operations including booking, documentation, tracking, and delivery.
• Coordinate with forwarders, and overseas agents to ensure timely cargo movement.

• Prepare and submit quotations for freight services (FCL, LCL, air freight, customs clearance, local delivery).
• Respond to RFQs and rate enquiries promptly and accurately.
• Verify documents like Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Delivery Order, Arrival Notice.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in relevant fields
• Working experiences in shipping documentation, processing of import and export documentation
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Positive attitude, diligent and detailed oriented
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
