Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Singapore is seeking a Control Manager - Associate to lead proactive risk management and control design across operations.

You will partner with stakeholders to assess risks, engineer robust controls, and drive strategic projects that strengthen resilience and efficiency. You will champion data analytics and digital tools to inform decisions, and collaborate with middle office, trade support, and product teams to improve front-to-back control design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years in financial services or related risk/control fields.
• Ability to analyze end-to-end processes and implement improved controls.
• Strong communication skills for senior and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience with data analytics and automation tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive risk and control reviews to identify weaknesses and root causes.
• Design, enhance, and validate controls to ensure robustness and proper documentation.
• Lead end-to-end operating environment reviews with metrics, failure modes, and roles.
• Provide independent challenge and articulate risk and impact-weighted solutions.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and strategic initiatives to reduce risk.
• Champion data analytics and digital tools to monitor performance.
• Collaborate with middle office, trade support, and product teams to strengthen controls.
• Establish change management protocols to sustain control health for new products.
• Define and track key risk indicators and escalate breaches with remediation.
• Prepare concise updates for senior management and external stakeholders on risk landscape.
• Foster innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability across operations.
