Job summary

Pan-united Concrete Pte Ltd is seeking a reliable Operator/Assistant at our batching plant in Singapore. The role involves coordinating with customers on concrete orders, performing slump tests on-site, batching and dispatching concrete to multiple job sites, and ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Min secondary education level or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to work independently and with a positive attitude under tight schedules.

• Able to read/understand and communicate in English.
• Willing to work on rotating shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers on concrete orders and perform slump checking on-site.
• Batch and dispatch concrete to various job sites.
• Fulfill customers' requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Receive and ensure accurate pumping of cement, admixtures and diesel at batching plant.
• In charge of slump and cube making and dispatch to sites accordingly.
• Perform various cubes and slump tests according to project site specifications.
• Liaise with laboratory to control material quality through sampling tests.
• Ensure fairness in assigning daily concrete delivery trips.
• Support neighbouring batching plants' orders.
• Maintain daily production order records.
• Ensure QT card details are accurately recorded.
• Maintain constant communication with batching plants or command centre for material delivery.
• Ensure barge arrangement and truck deployment schedules are accurate.
• Conduct regular checks on terminal's condition.
• Provide feedback to supervisor on operation matters.
• Maintain cleanliness at batching plant or terminal.
