Job summary

SPIRAL MARINE PTE. LTD. is seeking a logistics dispatcher to plan and coordinate daily jobs, prioritise tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.

The role involves deploying drivers, vehicles and equipment, and liaising with customers to secure on-time deliveries and collections. You will communicate changes in job status to relevant parties, handle ad-hoc requests, and address operational issues promptly while maintaining accurate records and performing duties assigned by

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily jobs, set priorities, monitor job progress and track schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor and communicate changes in job status to relevant parties.
• Plan and coordinate the daily deployment of drivers, vehicles and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
• Coordinate and liaise with internal and external customers to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
• Liaise with relevant departments, drivers and customers to ensure smooth execution of all jobs.
• Monitor operational issues and follow up on customers’ complaints, drivers’ feedback and other service-related matters.
• Ensure all records and operational information in the Control Department are updated accurately and promptly.
• Respond to operational issues, ad-hoc requests and urgent matters in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, drivers and internal departments.
• Able to respond to ad-hoc requests and urgent operational matters promptly and professionally.
• Able to multitask, prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literate, organised and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Prior experience in logistics, transportation, fleet operations or a control/dispatch environment will be an advantage.
