Job summary

USER EXPERIENCE RESEARCHERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an OpenStack Platform Engineer to design, implement, automate, and maintain scalable OpenStack infrastructure.

The role requires strong OpenStack, Kubernetes, and Red Hat Linux expertise, with a focus on security, performance, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OpenStack with Kubernetes/OpenShift, develop deployment automation, and lead efforts in AI-assisted operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant working experience in cloud/infra engineering.
• Expertise with Red Hat OpenStack and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux administration.
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning and monitoring tools (VMware ESX, Prometheus, Elastic Stack).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted automation, CI/CD, and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Red Hat OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Develop automation scripts for deployment and management of OpenStack environments.
• Integrate OpenStack with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in OpenStack and underlying infra.
• Apply security best practices and ensure policy compliance.
• Contribute to capacity planning, performance optimization, and scalability.
• Assist in change management for new versions and SysAdmin tasks.
• Explore Agentic AI and AIOps solutions to enhance administration.
• Leverage AI-assisted automation for monitoring and remediation.
• Develop and integrate AI agents with OpenStack APIs and tooling.
• Collaborate on root cause analysis, code reviews, and documentation.
