Job summary

Quantum Infotech Solutions in Singapore seeks an experienced network engineer to implement and maintain Cisco routers and switches, with strong IOS and NAC knowledge. You will support Aruba ClearPass/Cisco ISE, wireless controllers, and firewall platforms, while performing 24x7 incident response from client sites.

Role requires CCNP certification and hands-on troubleshooting, monitoring, and vendor coordination to ensure secure, reliable network operations at customer premises.

Qualifications

• Expert in Cisco routing and switching deployment and maintenance.
• Strong Cisco IOS knowledge and practical NAC support.
• Experience with Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE.
• Knowledge of wireless networks, APs, and controllers.
• Solid OSI/TCP-IP model understanding.
• CCNP certification is required or equivalent.
• Hands-on with network diagnostics and analytics tooling.
• Experience with firewall products (Cisco ASA, FortiGate, Palo Alto, Checkpoint).
• Familiarity with multi-vendor devices and certificates.
• On-site customer premises work with security posture adherence.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site network operations and monitoring at customer premises.
• Handle problem resolution, escalation, and root cause analysis for routing and switching.
• Execute configuration changes and updates per procedures.
• Update the Service Desk with incident status and tickets.
• Conduct day-to-day network infra operations and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with vendors for testing and preventive maintenance.
• Perform OS upgrades and patching as required.
• Provide 24x5 on-site availability and 24x7 standby for critical incidents.
• Prepare proactive incident reports within 24 hours for network issues.
• Escalate and coordinate with vendor support to resolve issues.
• Maintain inventory of devices, certificates, and firmware.
• Engage third-party vendors to resolve hardware issues and close tickets.
• Monitor End of Life / End of Support notices for devices.
