Job summary
ITCAN PTE. LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to install, upgrade and troubleshoot desktop environments, printers and peripheral devices. You will provide end-user support, diagnose hardware and software issues, and work with vendors for escalation.
You will load and customize OS configurations, track inventory, and ensure security patches are applied. The role requires taking ownership of tickets, delivering VIP support when needed, and maintaining smooth
Qualifications
- Experience providing frontline desktop support to end users.
- Familiar with hardware and peripheral devices.
- Able to diagnose and resolve OS and software issues.
- Experience with printer and peripheral devices.
- Liaise with vendors for escalation.
- Maintain hardware and software inventory.
Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot desktops and peripherals.
- Provide end-user support and escalate to Desktop Support Engineers.
- Handle printer and peripheral hardware support.
- Diagnose network connectivity and workstation issues.
- Load, copy and customize OS configurations for deployment.
