Job summary

Tech People 247 is seeking a reliable Desktop Support Specialist (Level 1) to deliver on-demand, onsite IT support for end-users in Singapore. You will handle hardware, software, and basic network issues with a focus on quick resolution and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities include on-site troubleshooting, OS and software support, network connectivity checks, and documenting steps and resolutions in tickets. Collaboration with senior engineers may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support experience in helpdesk or field desktop support.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Solid PC hardware knowledge and Windows 10/11.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Basic TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and local network concepts.
• Strong verbal communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Onsite troubleshooting of hardware and peripherals.
• OS and software support including Windows setups and updates.
• Troubleshoot local network connectivity.
• Document steps and resolutions in ticket updates.
• Assist with asset tagging and setup of new workstation equipment.
