Job summary

Wee Poh Construction Co (Pte) Ltd is seeking a capable Architect/Civil Engineer to plan and coordinate on-site architectural works, ensuring timely and quality delivery. You will supervise construction activities and review drawings to align with structural and M&E components, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to address design challenges.

Candidates should have 3+ years of relevant experience, strong reading of construction drawings, and familiarity with BIM/VDC tools.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
At least 3 years' experience in building or civil engineering projects.
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
Familiarity with BIM/VDC tools a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate architectural works on-site to ensure timely execution.
Supervise and inspect construction activities for quality and compliance with specs.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders on design challenges.
Review drawings to align with structural, mechanical and electrical components.
Ensure EHS compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor progress and resolve design-related issues for a seamless workflow.
Support submission of drawings, material samples and method statements as required.
Lead RC workers when applicable to achieve project objectives.
