Job summary

Dajin Heavy Industry Co.,Ltd is seeking an experienced Offshore Wind Substation Technical Proposal Engineer to support the expansion of its offshore wind business internationally. The role involves bidding documents, design Proposals, and cross-disciplinary coordination for global projects.

You will lead technical communications with clients and third parties, provide lifecycle technical support from fabrication to handover, and help develop standardised technical solutions for offshore wind

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Ocean Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional offshore wind substation design and proposal development.
• Strong knowledge of offshore wind design, fabrication and construction standards.
• Excellent English communication for international projects.
• Experience in proposal preparation, drawing review and risk control.
• International offshore wind project experience preferred.
• Chinese language capability would be ideal but not essential.
• Logical, reliable and self-driven approach to work.

• Prepare offshore wind substation bidding documents, preliminary design proposals, technical responses and BOQ deliverables.
• Lead cross-disciplinary technical coordination and solution optimisation across structural, electrical, outfitting and corrosion protection, HVAC and fire protection, navigation and monitoring systems.
• Manage technical communication with clients and third-party representatives, including technical clarifications, proposal presentations and deviation management during the pre-project stage.
• Provide full-lifecycle technical support covering fabrication, load-out, offshore construction, inspection and handover.
• Resolve technical issues and contribute to the development of standardised technical solutions.

• Lead cross-disciplinary technical coordination and solution optimisation across structural, electrical, outfitting and corrosion protection, HVAC and fire protection, navigation and monitoring systems.
• Manage technical communication with clients and third-party representatives, including technical clarifications, proposal presentations and deviation management during the pre-project stage.
• Provide full-lifecycle technical support covering fabrication, load-out, offshore construction, inspection and handover.
• Resolve technical issues and contribute to the development of standardised technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Ocean Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in offshore wind substation design, technical proposal development and engineering execution.
• Strong knowledge of relevant offshore wind design, fabrication and construction standards.
• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to independently manage technical communication and documentation for international projects.
• Experience in technical proposal preparation, drawing review and technical risk control.
• International/overseas offshore wind project experience is highly preferred.
• Chinese language capability would be ideal but is not essential for the role.
