Job description

We are looking for a motivated Electrical & Instrumentation Design Engineer with 1.5-3 years of experience in the Marine & Offshore industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, and practical experience in preparing engineering drawings for marine vessels, offshore platforms, FPSOs, and offshore modules.

The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering and project teams on marine and offshore engineering projects.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1.5-3 years of relevant experience in the Marine, Shipbuilding, Offshore, FPSO, or Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is essential.
• Experience in electrical/instrumentation cable routing, cable ladder/tray layouts, and installation drawings.
• Basic understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems used in marine and offshore applications.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, equipment layouts, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with cable tray sizing, cable segregation requirements, and material take-off preparation.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimum supervision.

Added Advantages

• Experience in offshore topside modules, FPSOs, E-Houses, or electrical substations.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD 3D, Navisworks, or other engineering modelling software.
• Knowledge of IEC standards, marine classification requirements, and offshore electrical installation practices.
• Experience in preparing cable tray support fabrication drawings and installation details.
