Job summary

Kanry Search is hiring an NPI Technician (MNC) in Singapore. The position is based in Yishun with rotating AM/PM shifts and on-site work.

Basic salary ranges SGD 2,000 to SGD 2,700 with additional benefits and a 13th-month salary. You will support manufacturing operations, assist production engineers, and help drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in semiconductor manufacturing or similar roles.
• Hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Familiar with work instructions and process documentation.
• NPI, engineering builds or process improvement experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to manufacturing operations and resolve production issues.
• Conduct equipment, tooling, and process inspections for stable production flow.
• Support engineering activities including product trials, NPI, and product transfer projects.
• Collect and analyse production data for process improvements and performance tracking.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers in troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Update process documents and ensure smooth implementation on the floor.
• Prepare and maintain work instructions, records, checklists and reports.
• Participate in Lean, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and company procedures.

NPI Technician (MNC)

Location: Yishun, Central Region
Basic Salary: SGD 2,000 - SGD 2,700
Benefits: Night Shift Allowance + 13-months Salary + Variable Bonus + 12 Days AL + Company Transport Provided

Working Days: Monday - Friday
- AM shift: 8am - 5:30pm
- PM Shift: 11:15pm - 8 am
(Rotating shifts every 2 weeks)

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily support to manufacturing operations and assist in resolving production process issues
• Conduct equipment, tooling, and process inspections to ensure stable and efficient production flow
• Support engineering activities including product trials, NPI, engineering builds, and product transfer projects
• Collect and analyze production data to support process improvement and performance tracking
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers in troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions
• Support engineering changes by updating process documents and ensuring smooth implementation on the production floor
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing documents such as work instructions, process records, checklists, and reports
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, Lean Manufacturing activities, and 5S initiatives
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to achieve manufacturing targets
• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with quality standards, safety requirements, and company procedures

About you

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Test Technician, Assembly Technician, NPI Technician, or similar manufacturing role in Semiconductor industry.

• Hands-on experience in assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and production support within a manufacturing environment
• Familiar with work instructions, process documentation, and basic equipment/tooling handling
• Experience in NPI, engineering builds, or process improvement activities is an added advantage
• Good attention to detail and ability to work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams
