Job summary

MCI Consulting Pte Ltd invites an experienced Manufacturing / Electronics Engineer to support product engineering, NPI, product transfers and manufacturing process development within an electronics manufacturing environment in Singapore. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product introduction, production readiness and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in PCBA/EMS or electronics manufacturing; 3+ years may be considered.
• Experience in NPI, product transfer and manufacturing process development.
• Experience with ECN management and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CAPA and manufacturing quality processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and/or FDA requirements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects for complete assembled products, including timelines, resources and production readiness.
• Lead NPI and product transfer activities from development to mass production.
• Support manufacturing and product engineering to meet quality, cost and production targets.
• Coordinate ECN and manage product/process changes effectively.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis with CAPA.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, R&D and other departments to resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain FAA, quality plans and manufacturing records.
• Support process improvement to enhance efficiency, quality and reliability.
• Ensure processes and documentation comply with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Support ISO 13485 and FDA-related requirements where applicable.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with stakeholders for timely completion.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing / Electronics Engineer to support product engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfers and manufacturing process development within an electronics manufacturing environment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product introduction, production readiness, quality compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects for complete assembled products, including timelines, resources and production readiness.

• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and product transfer activities from development through mass production.

• Support manufacturing and product engineering activities, ensuring products meet quality, cost and production requirements.

• Coordinate Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and manage product/process changes effectively.

• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Work closely with Production, Quality, R&D and other departments to resolve manufacturing and product-related issues.

• Prepare, review and maintain product and manufacturing documentation, including First Article Approval (FAA), quality plans and manufacturing records.

• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality and production reliability.

• Ensure manufacturing processes and documentation comply with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

• Support ISO 13485 and FDA-related requirements where applicable.

• Monitor project progress and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion and successful production launch.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in PCBA, EMS or electronics manufacturing. Candidates with 3+ years of strong relevant experience may also be considered.

• Proven experience in NPI, product transfer and manufacturing process development.

• Experience in ECN management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and production issue resolution.

• Experience with CAPA and manufacturing quality processes.

• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and/or FDA requirements will be an advantage.
