Job summary

Kanry Search Singapore is seeking a Production Technician (NPI / Engineering Support) to join our manufacturing operations. You will provide daily operational support, conduct equipment and process inspections, and collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to keep production flowing smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in semiconductor manufacturing, hands-on assembly and testing skills, and experience with NPIs or engineering builds.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting and production support.
• Experience with NPIs, engineering builds or process improvements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to manufacturing operations and resolve production issues.
• Inspect equipment, tooling, and processes to ensure stable production flow.
• Support engineering activities including product trials, NPI, and product transfers.
• Collect and analyze production data for process improvement.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers in troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Support engineering changes by updating process documents and ensuring smooth implementation on the production floor.
• Prepare and maintain work instructions, process records, checklists and reports.
• Participate in Lean and 5S initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to achieve manufacturing targets.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with quality standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.

Working Days:

• AM shift: 8am – 5:30pm
• PM Shift: 11:15pm – 8 am

Job Description:

• Provide daily support to manufacturing operations and assist in resolving production process issues.
• Conduct equipment, tooling, and process inspections to ensure stable and efficient production flow.
• Support engineering activities including product trials, NPI, engineering builds, and product transfer projects.
• Collect and analyze production data to support process improvement and performance tracking.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers in troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Support engineering changes by updating process documents and ensuring smooth implementation on the production floor.
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing documents such as work instructions, process records, checklists, and reports.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, Lean Manufacturing activities, and 5S initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to achieve manufacturing targets.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with quality standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum1–3 years of experienceas a Test Technician, Assembly Technician, NPI Technician, or similar manufacturing role in Semiconductor industry.

• Hands-on experience inassembly, testing, troubleshooting, and production supportwithin a manufacturing Semiconductor industry.

• Familiar withwork instructions, process documentation, and basic equipment/tooling handling.

• Experience inNPI, engineering builds, or process improvement activitiesis an added advantage.

• Good attention to detail and ability to work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.
