Job summary

MCI Career Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Test Engineer to support NPI and sustaining projects, ensuring smooth product launches and ongoing production.

You will perform product testing, troubleshoot failures, maintain ISO compliance, and contribute to Kaizen and continuous improvement. Shift patterns in Tampines: 4 days on/3 off or 3 on/4 off, with morning 7:00 am–7:00 pm and night 7:00 pm–7:00 am, basic up to SGD 3,200 with fixed allowances up to SGD 800, AWS + VB.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of testing, debugging or manufacturing experience.
• Basic understanding of test methodologies and RCA.
• Familiarity with C++, Python, Linux is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers in executing test activities for NPI and sustaining projects.
• Perform product testing and troubleshoot test failures; collaborate with Process and Test Engineers to improve yield and quality.
• Maintain ISO compliance and contribute to Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Update and maintain accurate test records for data analysis and reporting.
• Prepare, review, and maintain Work Instructions to standardize test procedures.
• Provide training to Material Handlers and production personnel on updated instructions.

Job Responsibilities

• Support engineers in executing test activities for both New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustaining projects to ensure smooth product launches and ongoing production.

• Perform product testing, troubleshoot test failures, and work closely with Process and Test Engineers to improve product yield, quality, and overall performance.

• Maintain compliance with ISO standards and actively contribute to Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Update and maintain accurate test records to support data analysis and reporting.

• Prepare, review, and maintain Work Instructions to ensure test procedures remain current and standardized.

• Provide training and knowledge transfer to Material Handlers and other production personnel based on updated Work Instructions.

Requirements

• NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.

• 1–3 years of experience in a testing, debugging, or manufacturing environment.

• Basic understanding of test methodologies, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

• Familiarity with C++, Python, Linux, or other programming/debugging tools is an advantage.

• Comfortable working rotating shifts.
