Job summary

1-Group (Singapore) is looking for a dynamic Captain/Supervisor to lead our Bar & Club operations in Singapore. You will support daily management, guide the service team, and cultivate an exciting guest experience in a vibrant nightlife setting.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in F&B/bar/nightlife, strong leadership and guest engagement skills, and a passion for cocktails and beverage service. You will work late nights, weekends, and public holidays to create a lively atmosphere.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the F&B, bar, club or nightlife industry.
• Entry-level candidates with relevant experience or exposure are welcome to apply.
• Passionate about the bar, club and nightlife scene.
• Good knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktails and bar service.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident in engaging guests and handling VIP clientele.
• Able to lead a team and perform well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Outlet Manager in overseeing daily bar and club operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, supervise and motivate service team members to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure the outlet is properly set up and ready for operations, including tables, seating areas, bar counters and service stations.
• Maintain knowledge of the beverage menu, including cocktails, spirits, wines, beers and promos.
• Promote beverages, bottle packages, signature cocktails and promotions to guests.
• Deliver attentive guest service while creating a lively atmosphere.
• Coordinate table reservations, VIP arrangements, bottle service and special requests.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and handle feedback professionally.
• Assist in managing crowd flow, table allocation and coordination during peak periods.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and licensing/safety compliance.
• Perform cashiering duties and ensure accurate handling of payments and transactions.
• Monitor beverage inventory and stock replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of bar, lounge and guest areas.
• Ensure grooming, hygiene and safety standards are met.
