Job summary

U3 INFOTECH PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide day-to-day operational management, administration, and support. The role handles network troubleshooting, configuration, documentation, and change management to ensure reliability and performance.

Responsibilities include managing devices, performing upgrades, configuring VLANs and firewall rules, and maintaining comprehensive network diagrams. CCNA certification and knowledge of DR procedures are required.

Qualifications

• CCNA certification required.
• Experience with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco wireless APs and controllers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Layer 1-3 network issues.
• Experience with network management tools and Wireshark.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers).
• Perform firmware/software upgrades, patching, and vulnerability fixes.
• Configure VLANs, firewall rules, DNS entries, proxy whitelisting, and other network parameters.
• Conduct network backups, recovery, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Liaise with ISPs and service providers for operational issues.
• Support IoT and smart devices (CCTV, Smart TV, TouchWall panels, lighting controls).
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation (diagrams, topologies, configurations).
• Manage network change requests with proper planning, testing, and minimal user disruption.
• Analyze network performance and recommend improvements.
