Qualifications

• Diploma or advanced diploma in CS/IT or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Cisco or Juniper networking certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of network security concepts is advantageous.
• Some experience in network implementation is preferred.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs.
• Good communication and teamwork; able to work independently.
• Ability to lift and carry at least a 1U network appliance.
• Able to start immediately or within a month.
• Only Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
• Plan and implement network solutions using best practices.
• Secure network systems by enforcing policies and access controls.
• Plan and perform firmware upgrades on network equipment.
• Configure and integrate Next-Generation Firewall, Layer 2/3 switches, and Enterprise WiFi.
• Complete post-project network documentation.
• Pass and maintain relevant certifications as required by the company.

Roles & Responsibilities

Tak System is looking for individuals who are currently performing the role of a network engineer or someone who has the interest and aptitude to break into this highly specialized sector. Successful candidates will learn to implement enterprise grade firewalls and security solutions, on top of network switching and wireless technologies, to provide a comprehensive network solution to clients.

Requirements:

• Candidate to possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or relevant working experience.

• Valid IT certifications from Cisco, Juniper or any other Enterprise networking products is an advantage.

• Knowledge of network security concepts and best practices is an advantage.

• Some experience in network implementation is preferred

• Good understanding of networking principles, includingTCP/IP, OSI model, subnet, routing, switching, and VLANs

• Good communication skills are essential.

• Be able to work effectively in a team and independently
