Job summary

SINGAPORE TELECOMMUNICATIONS LIMITED is seeking a Network Support professional to troubleshoot Voice Access network infrastructure and support upgrades. You will diagnose faults, collaborate with Transmission and cross-functional teams, and manage 24x7 BAU requests to meet SLAs.

The role requires Linux knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team. On-call duties and thorough documentation are expected.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in a related field.
• CCNA certification is an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot Voice Access network infrastructure to ensure business objectives and network reliability targets are achieved.
• Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution activities, as well as support project implementation and network upgrades.
• Collaborate with Transmission and cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
• Manage and respond to 24x7 BAU operational requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring service level commitments are met.
• Support, maintain, and administer telecommunications and IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Participate in standby and on-call duties, including responding to after-hours activations and critical incidents.
• Maintain operational documentation and adhere to established processes and procedures.
• Perform any other duties and assignments as assigned by the Manager.
