Job summary

Singtel is seeking a proactive engineer to support and troubleshoot Voice Access network infrastructure, ensuring reliability and alignment with business objectives. You will diagnose faults, assist with upgrades, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.

Your role includes handling BAU requests around the clock, maintaining equipment, and contributing to documentation and process adherence. CCNA is a plus, and Linux administration is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Linux OS and administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication with stakeholders across teams.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot Voice Access network infrastructure to meet business goals and reliability targets.
• Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution activities; support project implementation and network upgrades.
• Collaborate with Transmission and cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve network issues quickly.
• Handle 24x7 BAU operational requests from internal stakeholders and meet SLAs.
• Maintain and administer telecommunications and IT equipment for optimal performance and availability.
• Participate in standby/on-call duties, including after-hours activations and incidents.
• Maintain operational documentation and adhere to processes and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
