Job summary

Astreya in Singapore is seeking a Network Operations Engineer II to manage and troubleshoot Network Production environments with high accuracy and independence.

You will work on production network and internet peering strategies, coordinate with multiple vendors, and participate in 24/7 global support, with occasional weekend shifts.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in networking, strong communication, and experience with IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and optical technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2+ years’ related experience in network engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication with service providers and ISPs.
• Experience with IP networking concepts (IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and fiber-optic tech.

Responsibilities

• Participate in production network and internet peering strategies.
• Work on problems of moderate scope with guidance as needed; handle multiple vendor servers and issues.
• Troubleshoot network and traffic peering incidents with internal teams and external partners.
• Coordinate with TAC vendors and ISPs to fix hardware and connectivity issues.
• Support 24/7 global network operations, including potential weekend work.
• Produce root cause analyses for outages and incidents.
