Job summary

Astreya Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is hiring a Network Operations Engineer I to manage and troubleshoot Network Production environments. The role requires independent work, accuracy, and attention to detail, with guidance on new projects.

You will participate in production network and internet peering strategies, work with multiple vendors, and support incidents across regions. Weekend work may be required as part of 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) with 2+ years' related experience or equivalent
• Strong communication skills for working with service providers and partners
• Understanding of IP networking concepts (IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, MPLS)
• Knowledge of fiber-optic tech and optical transport will be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Participate in production network and internet peering strategies
• Experience with CDN networking, monitoring capacity, and peering traffic
• Work with multiple vendor servers on software and hardware issues
• Handle traffic and inquiries from ISPs/partners
• Support network and traffic peering during incidents
• Troubleshoot optical (DWDM, CWDM) and IP network components
• Coordinate with TAC vendors to fix hardware issues
• Collaborate with ISPs/vendors to resolve network issues
• Participate in 24/7 global support with other teams
• Some weekend work may be required
• Other duties as required
