Job summary

MG & G TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a network professional to design, install, configure, and maintain complex network infrastructures in Singapore. You will participate in site deployments, testing, commissioning, and handovers with clients and subcontractors.

The role involves configuring IP addressing, VLANs, routing, DHCP and DNS, plus monitoring performance and ensuring security measures. On-site work and collaboration across teams are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, and related equipment.
• Perform network setup, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance for project and site deployments.
• Configure and manage network devices, IP addressing, VLANs, routing, DHCP, DNS, and other network services.
• Monitor network performance, connectivity, and system availability to ensure stable and reliable operations.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, and configuration issues and provide timely solutions.
• Conduct network testing and assist with system integration, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Prepare network diagrams, configuration documents, test reports, method statements, and other relevant technical documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams during project implementation.
• Carry out site surveys and assess network infrastructure requirements before installation.
• Support the installation and termination of network cabling, fibre optic systems, network racks, patch panels, and related infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for network systems.
• Ensure all network installations comply with project specifications, company requirements, and applicable industry standards.
• Assist in identifying network security risks and implementing appropriate security measures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to technicians and subcontractors during installation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate records of network configurations, equipment inventory, test results, and maintenance activities.
• Participate in site meetings, inspections, testing & commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Perform other network-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager or Management.
