Job summary

KYEC Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled network engineer to design, implement, and manage our enterprise network infrastructure across data centers and offices in Singapore.

You will work on routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPN solutions to ensure high availability and security. The role involves monitoring performance, capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, and collaboration with security and applications teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in IT infrastructure with hands-on enterprise networking.
• Experience in manufacturing/semiconductor high-availability environments.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching.
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet or equivalent platforms.
• TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, OSPF, VRF, LACP, HSRP/VRRP, NAT, ACL, VPN expertise.
• Enterprise firewall administration and security.
• Enterprise wireless deployment and support.
• Familiarity with LibreNMS, Zabbix, Wireshark.
• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Data center cabling and server connectivity.
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPNs.
• Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
• Administer firewall platforms and security policies, NAT, ACLs, IPS/IDS, and VPN.
• Monitor performance, analyze traffic, plan capacity, and resolve issues.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPN solutions.


• Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies.


• Administer and optimize firewall platforms, security policies, NAT, ACLs, IPS/IDS, and VPN connectivity to maintain network security.


• Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, perform capacity planning, and proactively resolve network issues.


• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migration projects, and disaster recovery exercises.


• Implement network monitoring and observability solutions using related tools.


• Deploy and maintain enterprise wireless networks and optimize wireless coverage and performance.


• Support data center network infrastructure, including rack installation, structured cabling, server connectivity, and cross-connect implementation.


• Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and secure network services.


• Prepare and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.


• Work closely with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and implement infrastructure improvements.


• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior engineers when required.

Role Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.


• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with strong hands-on experience in enterprise networking.


• Experience supporting manufacturing, semiconductor, or other high-availability enterprise environments.


• Strong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching technologies.


• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent enterprise networking platforms.


• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, OSPF, VRF, LACP, HSRP/VRRP, NAT, ACL, and VPN technologies.


• Experience with enterprise firewall administration and network security.


• Experience deploying and supporting enterprise wireless networks.


• Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as LibreNMS, Zabbix and Wireshark.


• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IT infrastructure support.


• Experience with data center infrastructure, structured cabling, and server connectivity.


• Good understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
