Job summary

AEON SEARCH CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a mid-level Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our bank growth network infrastructure.

You will implement HO security policies, monitor performance, and collaborate with security teams to enforce best practices across on-premise and cloud environments. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper hardware, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of mid-level network engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Cisco/Juniper hardware and core networking concepts.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security best practices.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.

• Configure and install firewalls, switches, routers, and other networking devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues across on-premise and cloud environments.

• Conduct capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgrades.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and procedures.
• Participate in network-related incident response and change management.

Job description

You are responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the bank growing network infrastructure, and to implement HO security policy to local infrastructure. This role requires deep knowledge of networking protocols, troubleshooting, and a proactive approach to infrastructure security and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design,deploy, and support LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Maintain and monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, andlatency).
• Configure and install firewalls, switches, routers, and other networking devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce network security best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (orequivalent experience).
• 3+ years(Middle level) of experience in network engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking hardware.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, and other corenetworking concepts.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security best practices.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications (a plus)

• Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA/CCNP)
• Huawei Certificated ICT Associate/Professional(HCIA/HCIP)
