Job summary

Aureus Group in Singapore is seeking dedicated musicians to join our team of teachers from around the world. We offer full-time piano, violin, vocal, guitar/ukulele and drum teaching roles with a focus on tailored lesson planning and student progress.

You will plan lessons, teach music theory and practical techniques, assess progress, accompany ensembles, and collaborate with colleagues in camps and exam preparation. Excellent training and facilities are provided.

Qualifications

• Master/Bachelor/Diploma in Music (ATCL/DipABRSM)
• 1-2 years teaching experience, preferred
• Bright and cheerful personality with confident communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual students' needs and examination syllabuses
• Teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to students entering and preparing pupils for examinations
• Acquire appropriate teaching materials and resources for music lessons
• Motivate students and encourage progress in the student’s learning journey
• Assess students' abilities, providing feedback and writing reports for parental feedback
• Accompaniment or ensemble practice and performance
• Working with other colleagues in group activities, such as camps and exam preparation

Job Responsibilities:
