Job summary

Aureus Group in Singapore seeks dedicated Music Teachers to guide students through piano, violin, vocal, guitar/ukulele, drum, and music exploration lessons. You will teach with care, following the Aureus curriculum, and inspire a love of music in learners of all ages.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Diploma in Music and bring an engaging, positive attitude. Training and onboarding support are provided to help you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Master’s/Bachelor’s/Diploma in Music (ATCL/DipABRSM) or equivalent.
• Bright, cheerful and engaging personality.
• Confidence in speaking with students, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging one-on-one lessons in piano, guitar, violin or voice following the Aureus curriculum.
• Deliver structured lessons to develop musical skills and foster a lifelong love of music.
• Use interactive teaching methods and personalized instruction to keep students motivated.
• Prepare students for performances and provide progress updates to parents.
• Organize student performances and help students build confidence to perform.
• Represent Aureus at outreach events and promote music education.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create Musical Magic: Lead engaging one-on-one lessons in piano, guitar, violin, or voice, making every class a fun and exciting journey for students of all ages.
• Teach with Passion: Deliver structured lessons following the Aureus curriculum, ensuring students develop strong musical skills while fostering a lifelong love for music.
• Conduct Engaging Lessons: Use interactive teaching methods, personalized instruction, and creative exercises to keep students motivated and eager to learn.

• Stay Connected: Provide regular progress updates to parents through the Aureus App, ensuring they stay informed and engaged in their child’s musical journey.
• Host Recitals: Organize student performances and showcase events that give students the confidence to perform in front of an audience and celebrate their achievements.
• Grow with Us: Represent Aureus at outreach events, roadshows, and other initiatives to promote the joy of music education and connect with new students.
• Track Progress with Positivity: Assess students' abilities, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate milestones to keep them motivated and confident.
• Inspire & Lead: Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and develop their musical creativity.
• Keep Learning & Growing: Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development programs to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on the latest music education trends.
