Job summary

Aureus Group is seeking dedicated music teachers to join our team in Singapore. Roles include Piano, Violin, Vocal, Guitar/Ukulele, Drum, and Music Exploration teaching. Plan and customize lessons, teach theory and practical skills, and prepare students for examinations within a supportive studio environment.

We value bright, cheerful communicators with strong teaching enthusiasm. Full-time positions with comprehensive onboarding and active collaboration with peers are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Diploma in Music (ATCL/DipABRSM) required.
• 1–2 years of teaching experience preferred.
• Singapore location is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons tailored to each student and syllabus.
• Teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques for examinations.
• Acquire teaching materials and resources for lessons.
• Motivate students and track progress for parents reports.
• Provide accompaniment or ensemble practice and performances.
• Collaborate with colleagues on group activities, camps and exam prep.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual students' needs and examination syllabuses
• Teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to students entering and preparing pupils for examinations
• Acquire appropriate teaching materials and resources for music lessons
• Motivate students and encourage progress in the student’s learning journey
• Assess students' abilities, providing feedback and writing reports for parental feedback
• Accompaniment or ensemble practice and performance
• Working with other colleagues in group activities, such as camps and exam preparation

Hiring Criteria:

• Master Degree, Bachelor Degree, Diploma in Music (ATCL/DipABRSM)*G8*
• 1-2 years of experience in teaching or related fields preferred
• Bright and cheerful personality with confident communication skills
• Job Location will be in Singapore
